Restaurant and Dining Furniture from China
Restaurant furniture works harder than almost anything else in a hotel. Chairs are dragged, tilted and stacked several times a day, tables are wiped down after every service, and booths take the weight of every guest who slides in. Chinify sources commercial dining furniture from specialised factories in Foshan, China, for hotel restaurants, independent restaurants, bars, cafés, banquet halls and residential clubhouses.

What we make
- Dining chairs and armchairs: solid wood, metal and upholstered, including stackable banquet chairs
- Tables: two- and four-tops, round and communal tables, with stone, sintered stone, solid wood, veneer or laminate tops and metal or wood bases
- Booths and banquettes: built to your floor plan, single or back-to-back
- Bar and counter: bar counters, back bars, bar stools and counter stools, high tables
- Service pieces: buffet stations, sideboards, waiter stations and hostess stands
- Terraces: outdoor dining sets (see outdoor furniture)

What makes dining furniture commercial-grade
| Element | What we specify |
|---|---|
| Chair frames | Solid hardwood with mortise-and-tenon or dowelled joints and corner blocks, or welded metal; designed for the daily rocking and dragging of restaurant use |
| Finishes | Hard-wearing lacquer or powder coat that resists cleaning products, spills and scratches; colour approved on a finish panel |
| Upholstery | Contract-grade fabric, faux leather or leather that is easy to wipe clean; removable seat pads where useful for maintenance |
| Table tops and bases | Tops that resist heat and stains; bases sized to the top so tables do not wobble or tip, with levelling glides |
| Booths | Solid substructure fixed to the floor or wall, upholstered seat and back panels that can be replaced individually |
| Floor protection | Felt or nylon glides chosen for your floor (stone, wood or tile) |
A dining chair from a furniture store and a restaurant chair can look the same in a photo. The difference shows after a few months of service, which is why we check joinery, frame strength and finish during production, not only at the end.

How a restaurant project works
- Brief: floor plan with seat count, furniture references, finishes, budget and opening date.
- Specification and FOB quotation: each chair, table, booth and bar piece specified and priced.
- Samples: one sample of each chair and table to test comfort, height, stability and finish.
- Production and three-stage QC: materials, in-production and pre-shipment inspections with photos.
- Packing: chairs packed to protect legs and corners; tops and bases packed separately when that saves space.
Payment, inspection and shipping steps are explained on how we work.
MOQ and lead times
- Standard models: from 5 to 10 pieces per model, about 30 to 45 days of production.
- Custom models: usually 20 to 50 pieces per model, about 45 to 75 days after sample approval.
- Booths, bars and counters: made to order for your floor plan.
- Samples: about 2 to 3 weeks for a standard model with changes, 3 to 6 weeks for a new design.

Frequently asked questions
Are your restaurant chairs stackable?
Banquet and many café chairs are designed to stack; most upholstered dining chairs are not. Tell us how the room is used and how much storage you have, and we will recommend models for each area.
Can you make booths to fit our floor plan?
Yes. Booths and banquettes are built to your plan and seat count. We confirm dimensions on shop drawings before production and label each section for installation.
Which table tops work best in a restaurant?
It depends on the concept and budget. Stone and sintered stone resist heat and scratches, solid wood and veneer give warmth but need a durable lacquer, and laminate is the most economical. We send samples of each option so you can test them.
Do you supply restaurants outside hotels?
Yes. We work with independent restaurants, restaurant groups, bars, cafés and clubhouses as well as hotel restaurants, as long as the order is a project order rather than a few retail pieces.
Tell us about your project
Send us the location, the type of project, the areas to furnish, drawings or references and your timeline. We reply within 24 hours.
